GORDON Brown doesn’t see today’s pre-budget kickstart to Britain’s sick economy as a gamble.
The Prime Minister may be in something of a minority, I reckon. From anecdotal evidence, it is not just cynical business leaders who are worried about the levels of borrowing that will be built up to pay for the lifeboat being launched down the slipway now.
